A law firm seeks a Delaware-barred associate to join its Wilmington, DE office. This full-time, hybrid position offers a dynamic environment where a motivated attorney can gain hands-on experience in diverse fields of litigation, including professional liability and employment claims.

Duties

• Represent clients in all phases of litigation from initiation to expert discovery.
• Attend court appearances, hearings, depositions, and case management conferences.
• Conduct complex legal research and discovery investigations.
• Draft discovery requests, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Review discovery responses and prepare litigation update reports.
• Negotiate with opposing counsel to settle claims.
• Communicate with clients to provide legal analysis and status reports.

Requirements

• Must be barred in Delaware.
• Experience in medical malpractice, professional liability, and/or employment litigation preferred.
• Excellent writing and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Lexis software.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Valid Delaware Bar license.
