A highly regarded personal injury law firm is seeking a seasoned Trial Attorney to join its litigation team in Dallas, Texas. The attorney will manage a full caseload and lead a litigation team while delivering exceptional advocacy and results-driven legal representation.
Location:

Duties:
Manage personal injury cases from inception through trial
Prepare cases by drafting and responding to discovery, taking depositions, and filing legal documents
Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and trials
Interact regularly with clients, staff, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel
Supervise and lead a team of five or more litigation professionals
Review pre-litigation files and contribute to settlement negotiations
Develop and execute litigation strategy for commercial motor vehicle and trucking cases
Pursue continuing education with potential board certification in truck accident law
Maintain accountability while working independently and collaboratively
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in personal injury law
Proven ability to manage complex caseloads from pre-suit through trial
Experience supervising team members or managing litigation staff
Familiarity with commercial vehicle accident claims
Strong attention to detail and commitment to professional ethics
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
Prior pre-litigation negotiation experience preferred
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
Certifications:
Active license and member in good standing with the State Bar of Texas, Illinois, or Georgia
Skills:
Excellent legal research and writing abilities
Strong courtroom and deposition skills
Proficiency in using legal tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
Ability to analyze and resolve complex legal issues
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
