A highly regarded personal injury law firm is seeking a seasoned Trial Attorney to join its litigation team in Dallas, Texas. This role is ideal for an experienced litigator who excels in a fast-paced environment, is confident in trial settings, and is dedicated to achieving justice for injury victims. The attorney will manage a full caseload and lead a litigation team while delivering exceptional advocacy and results-driven legal representation.

Location:

• Dallas, Texas

Duties:

• Manage personal injury cases from inception through trial

• Prepare cases by drafting and responding to discovery, taking depositions, and filing legal documents

• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and trials

• Interact regularly with clients, staff, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel

• Supervise and lead a team of five or more litigation professionals

• Review pre-litigation files and contribute to settlement negotiations

• Develop and execute litigation strategy for commercial motor vehicle and trucking cases

• Pursue continuing education with potential board certification in truck accident law

• Maintain accountability while working independently and collaboratively

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in personal injury law

• Proven ability to manage complex caseloads from pre-suit through trial

• Experience supervising team members or managing litigation staff

• Familiarity with commercial vehicle accident claims

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to professional ethics

• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team

• Prior pre-litigation negotiation experience preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license and member in good standing with the State Bar of Texas, Illinois, or Georgia

Skills:

• Excellent legal research and writing abilities

• Strong courtroom and deposition skills

• Proficiency in using legal tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis

• Ability to analyze and resolve complex legal issues

• Clear verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills
