Litigation Partner

Profile

A law firm based in Miami, FL, is seeking a highly experienced Litigation Partner to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in litigation, a proven track record of successful case outcomes, and the ability to lead and mentor junior associates.

Duties:

• Lead and manage a diverse caseload of complex litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal
• Provide strategic guidance and counsel to clients on legal matters, including risk assessment and dispute resolution
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Represent clients in state and federal courts, arbitrations, and mediations
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to develop case strategies and achieve client objectives
• Mentor and supervise junior associates and support staff
• Maintain client relationships and cultivate new business opportunities for the firm

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Florida Bar, in good standing
• Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on litigation
• Proven track record of successful case outcomes and client satisfaction
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuing legal education

Certifications:

• Membership in relevant professional organizations such as the American Bar Association or the Florida Bar Association
• Certifications or specializations in litigation or trial advocacy are desirable but not required

Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of civil procedure, evidence, and substantive law related to litigation matters
• Proficiency in legal research tools and databases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective courtroom advocacy and presentation skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
