Duties

• Assist clients by understanding their needs and strategizing appropriate actions.
• Represent clients effectively at court hearings as needed.
• Organize and maintain current client files.
• Draft, review, and finalize estate planning documents.
• Provide legal advice on estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
• Represent clients in probate court and during estate administration.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop comprehensive estate plans.
• Stay informed on changes in Connecticut estate law.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

• Active member of the American Bar Association.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in trusts and estates law.
• Deep knowledge of Connecticut estate planning, probate, and trust law.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Appreciates structured processes and adaptability.
• Strong technical skills and a positive attitude.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar license in Connecticut.
