A law firm seeks a Senior Associate Attorney in Urbana, OH, to join its multi-office practice. The successful candidate will handle a broad spectrum of civil and transactional matters across several counties, contributing to both litigation and business-oriented work in a collaborative environment.

Duties

• Manage diverse litigation matters, including domestic relations, landlord/tenant disputes, personal injury, and real estate litigation.

• Oversee transactional work such as business contracts, collections actions, and probate administration.

• Conduct courtroom advocacy, including hearings, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.

• Cultivate client relationships and develop an individual practice within a supportive team setting.

Requirements

• 3–10 years of experience in civil litigation and transactional practice.

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio and willing to reside in or relocate to the assigned county or a contiguous county.

• Proven initiative in caseload management and business development.

• Strong analytical, communication, and courtroom skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Ohio Bar in good standing.

Skills

• Excellent legal research, drafting, and negotiation abilities.

• Capacity to prioritize multiple matters and meet deadlines under pressure.
