Duties

• Collaborate with partners on complex commercial, fiduciary, professional malpractice, and tort litigation.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, hearings, depositions, mediation, arbitration, and trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda of high quality.
• Develop case strategy in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Engage directly with clients, experts, and co-counsel.
• Oversee multiple matters and deadlines with precision.
• Provide analysis on coverage, fiduciary duties, legal malpractice, and other legal questions.
• Support and supervise junior attorneys and litigation teams as needed.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas Bar license or ability to obtain promptly.
• Minimum of 5+ years of litigation experience; trial or arbitration experience preferred.
• Experience in complex commercial litigation, fiduciary litigation, professional malpractice, insurance coverage, employment disputes, real estate, construction litigation, or intellectual property is a plus.
• Exceptional legal writing, oral advocacy, and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Strong client-service mindset.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications
