Duties

• Represent insurance companies in coverage disputes.
• Advise on a variety of insurance coverage matters.
• Analyze coverage issues and draft coverage opinions.
• Prepare pleadings and dispositive motions.
• Conduct discovery in insurance coverage litigation.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend court conferences and argue motions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of insurance coverage and litigation experience.
• Must be licensed to practice in Washington.
• Superior research, writing, and communication skills.
• Experience analyzing insurance policies and contracts.
• Ability to handle all phases of the litigation process.
• Experience in drafting settlement agreements and handling appeals.
• Arbitration and/or trial experience is beneficial.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Washington.
