The candidate will review and negotiate professional services agreements and other commercial contracts. Support the General Counsel and Assistant Counsel with managing claims and litigation. Work with technical staff and outside counsel to prepare pleadings and respond to discovery requests. Update claims and litigation reports. Report new matters to insurers. Collaborate with project executives and technical managers to proactively identify, assess and advise on dispute avoidance and risk mitigation strategies. Assist with the company’s insurance, risk management and compliance programs (e.g. corporate registrations, professional licensing and data privacy). Prepare corporate governance documents (e.g., corporate filings and board resolutions). Manage subpoenas received by the firm. Perform other duties as required.
