Litigation Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate should have 1-6 years of litigation experience and be ready to contribute to cases immediately.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Assist in trial preparation and participate in trial proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Maryland State Bar is required.
• 1-6 years of experience in litigation, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills..

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
