Job Overview

A law firm seeks a 4th-5th year associate to join the Antitrust and Competition Practice Group in New York City. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex Hart-Scott-Rodino filings and advising on antitrust aspects of mergers and acquisitions.

Duties

• Advise clients on HSR reportability and prepare premerger notifications.
• Coordinate foreign filing analyses and manage clean team protocols.
• Draft antitrust risk-shifting covenants in purchase agreements.
• Represent clients in Second Request investigations or similar reviews.

Requirements

• Experience in a law firm and/or government setting.
• Familiarity with legal technology tools, including document review platforms.
• AmLaw 100 or government experience preferred.

Education

• JD from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications

• Active member of the bar in the jurisdiction(s) where they practice.
• Timely admission to the D.C. Bar or New York Bar, as applicable.
