A law firm seeks a Senior Transportation Litigation Associate in San Diego. This role offers the flexibility of remote work for part of the week, allowing seamless communication and collaboration. The successful candidate will engage in diverse transportation, automobile, and trucking cases, working closely with senior associates and partners throughout all litigation phases.

Duties

• Independently manage cases through all litigation stages from inception to trial.
• Attend court hearings, manage discovery, and take and defend depositions.
• Proactively manage client communications throughout litigation.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to clients and compliance with case management requirements.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree is required.
• Must be licensed to practice in the State of California.
• 3+ years of transportation litigation experience preferred.
• Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience handling discovery for complex matters with substantial knowledge of evidentiary objections.
• Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
