Duties

• Handle a variety of litigation matters including family law, contract disputes, and personal injury cases

• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence

• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy

• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations

• Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case planning and trial preparation

• Manage assigned caseload from intake through resolution

Requirements

• 2–5 years of litigation experience

• Familiarity with family, contract, and personal injury law preferred

• Experience managing client relationships and legal proceedings

• Ability to handle multiple matters in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of Iowa
