Location:

• Newport Beach, CA

Duties:

• Manage family law cases from start to finish, with hands-on courtroom experience
• Handle cases involving custody, visitation, support, protective orders, move-away cases, divorce, domestic violence, and paternity
• Conduct legal research on family law matters
• Draft, analyze, and review legal documents
• Communicate effectively with clients, explaining complex legal matters with clarity and empathy
• Track and manage billable hours
• Engage in creative problem-solving and innovative legal strategies

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in family law
• Licensed to practice law in California
• Experience in litigation and managing family law cases
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and work collaboratively with other attorneys
• Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS) or eligibility is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the State of California
• CFLS (Certified Family Law Specialist) designation or eligibility is a plus
