A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with 3-10 years of litigation experience to join their Fort Lauderdale, FL office. Duties

• Manage case load from inception to post-trial.
• Attend court conferences, oral arguments, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Provide timely reports on case status and activities.
• Communicate effectively with clients, senior attorneys, and paralegals.
• Meet billing requirements and complete tasks promptly.

Requirements

• Member in good standing of the Florida Bar; federal District Court admission is a plus.
• 1+ years of work experience with third-party liability.
• Ability to commute to the Fort Lauderdale office.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of ProLaw and Acuity is a plus.
