Duties:

• Manage workers’ compensation claims from initial intake through resolution

• Appear before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board

• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and settlement documents

• Conduct depositions, hearings, and related litigation activities

• Negotiate favorable outcomes for injured clients

• Support the senior partner in complex catastrophic injury matters

• Maintain case documentation and ensure procedural compliance

Requirements:

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar

• 1 year of experience.

• Must reside within California

• Prior experience handling workers’ compensation matters from start to finish is preferred

• New graduates with a demonstrated interest in this field are encouraged to apply

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active membership with the State Bar of California

Skills:
