A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Associate for its Intellectual Property practice in Washington, DC. The candidate will engage in complex patent litigation involving life sciences, medical devices, and pharmaceutical technologies, including Hatch-Waxman litigation.

Duties

• Handle complex patent litigation matters.
• Provide strategic dispute counseling.
• Collaborate with technical and expert witnesses.
• Manage litigation before federal courts and the PTAB.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in patent litigation.
• Experience with life sciences and pharmaceutical technologies.
• Strong analytical, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.

Education

• Undergraduate degree in biology, chemistry, or related scientific discipline.
• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Member of the Bar in the United States.
• Registration to practice before the USPTO preferred.
