Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Consumer Finance Associate with 3-4 years of relevant experience to join its Financial Regulatory practice in Jacksonville, FL. The candidate will counsel various financial entities on federal and state financial laws and regulations.

Duties

• Counsel banks, credit unions, and FinTechs on financial regulations.
• Advise on compliance with federal and state commercial and consumer financial regulations.
• Conduct financial regulatory and state licensing analyses.
• Draft and negotiate contracts and lending documents.
• Assist with regulatory enforcement investigations and actions.

Requirements

• Experience with financial regulatory and state licensing analyses.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to client service and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where admitted to practice.
• Timely admission to the Bar of the state where the hiring office is located.

Skills

• Experience in regulatory interpretation and contract negotiation.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
