Associate Attorney needed for Las Vegas office

Job Overview: A law firm in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a licensed Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience in Nevada State and Federal Courts. Trial experience is preferred. The ideal candidate must be able to work with little to no supervision and demonstrate self-starting abilities in completing and managing tasks.

Duties:

• Represent clients in legal proceedings, including hearings and trials.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Manage and prioritize caseload efficiently and effectively.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and other proceedings as required.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Nevada State Bar.
• 3-5 years of litigation experience in Nevada State and Federal Courts.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of Nevada civil procedure and evidence rules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Nevada State Bar.

Skills:

• Litigation experience in Nevada State and Federal Courts.
• Trial experience (preferred).
• Legal research and analysis.
• Drafting legal documents.
