The candidate will assess merits of each case where termination of an employee who has been rated unsatisfactory is sought, distinguishing between cases that are ineligible to go to hearing due to procedural or substantive flaws and cases that are procedurally sound. Will develop discharge file and assemble all exhibits. Draft dismissal charges. Identify and prepare witnesses for discharge hearing. Attend dismissal hearing. Draft dismissal hearing decision. Data management for all referred cases.
