Duties

• Conduct audits of employer practices, including wage and hour policies.
• Draft and revise incentive compensation documents, such as commission and bonus plans.
• Draft and revise policies and handbooks for clear employee communication.
• Explain complex employment law issues to diverse audiences.
• Identify problem-solving options and advise clients on practical and legal solutions.

Requirements

• Admitted to the CA State Bar and in good standing.
• 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local workplace and employment law is a plus.
• Understanding of current agency enforcement techniques is a plus.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to the CA State Bar.

Skills

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience conducting trainings or workplace investigations preferred.
