A well-established national law firm is currently seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its litigation team in Florida. This role is ideal for attorneys with 2–4 years of experience in first-party property defense and/or casualty/liability defense. Location:

• Tallahassee, Florida

Duties:

• Handle first-party property defense and/or casualty/liability defense cases

• Prepare and draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses

• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies

• Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and mediations

• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to manage caseloads effectively

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense

• Experience with first-party property and/or casualty/liability matters

• Ability to manage multiple legal matters and deadlines independently

• Strong organizational and time management skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the Florida State Bar

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical abilities

• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
