Duties

• Provide legal guidance on estate planning, business formation, and special needs planning.
• Draft legal documents, including trusts, wills, and powers of attorney.
• Prepare sophisticated estate and tax planning documents.
• Assist clients in asset protection and preservation strategies.
• Conduct legal and tax research.
• Comply with client and firm procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10+ years' experience in trust and estate matters.
• Experience with high-net-worth clients and asset protection strategies.
• Existing referral base generating $200k+ revenue.
• Experience in surrogate court proceedings.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially.
• Active attorney license in applicable states.
• High degree of initiative and mature judgment.

• Bachelor's degree
• J.D. degree
