Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Professional Liability Partner in Los Angeles, CA. This role offers an opportunity for an attorney with a strong background in labor and employment defense litigation to lead a growing practice group. The candidate should possess strategic litigation experience, leadership skills, and a commitment to client service. Portable business is considered but not required.

Duties

• Lead and expand the Professional Liability practice.
• Handle complex defense matters through all litigation phases.
• Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, insured professionals, brokers, and clients.
• Mentor and supervise associates and business professionals.
• Drive business development, marketing, and cross-selling initiatives.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Admission to the California State Bar required.
• 10+ years of professional liability defense experience.
• Strong litigation, leadership, client management, and business development skills.
• Experience representing insurers and/or insured professionals preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California State Bar admission.
