Duties

• Draft, review, and modify legal documents including claims, motions, and pleadings.
• Interview clients and witnesses to gather information.
• Document and update case files in the management system.
• Gather evidence and conduct legal research on relevant case law.
• Delegate tasks and manage a team of legal professionals.
• Drive litigation strategy from intake through resolution.
• Serve as first-chair trial counsel in jury and bench trials.
• Oversee trial preparation and develop attorneys within the team.
• Partner with firm leadership to enhance litigation systems.
• Contribute to business development efforts.

Requirements

• Active Georgia Bar license.
• 12+ years of trial-heavy personal injury litigation experience.
• Minimum of five jury trials resolved by verdict as first chair.
• Consistent track record of multi-million-dollar verdicts/settlements.
• Broad leadership experience managing a team of attorneys and paralegals.

Education

• Bachelor's degree and a J.D. degree required.

Certifications

• Active Georgia Bar license.

Skills

• Superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Expertise in personal injury law, medical terminology, and civil litigation.
