Duties

• Draft Case Management Orders and appear in court.
• Organize and analyze case information, providing reports to carriers.
• Propound and respond to written discovery.
• Draft law and motion documents.
• Coordinate with clients and experts, attend site inspections.
• Take and defend depositions, including expert witnesses.
• Participate in all phases of trial preparation.
• Opportunity for first and second-chair trial experience.

Requirements

• Active member of the California State Bar in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in insurance defense.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and research skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California State Bar license.
