A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney with substantial experience in personal injury and employment matters to join their litigation team in Glendale, CA. This position is ideal for a strategic litigator who excels in the courtroom and can lead a team through all stages of litigation.

Duties

• Lead personal injury litigation matters, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims.
• Conduct and defend depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions.
• Develop litigation strategies tailored to each client and case.
• Supervise and mentor junior associates, paralegals, and support staff.
• Handle all aspects of discovery, including managing e-discovery issues.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide guidance throughout the legal process.
• Manage case deadlines and ensure procedural compliance.

Requirements

• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in personal injury litigation with trial experience.
• Ability to handle depositions, mediations, and trial preparation independently.
• Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Proven leadership and team management experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and case management skills.
• Must be local to or willing to relocate to the Greater Los Angeles area.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications
