Job Overview

A law firm seeks a transactional real estate associate attorney for its Portland office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, and financing. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex transactions and collaborate with team members across multiple offices.

Duties

• Manage commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and sales.
• Handle commercial leasing and real property secured financing.
• Participate in real estate joint ventures and land development projects.
• Conduct title, survey, and related real estate due diligence.
• Collaborate with paralegals and team members in other offices.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years' experience in commercial real estate transactions.
• Experience or strong interest in lender-side real estate financing preferred.
• Prior law firm experience required.
• Ability to handle matters independently and work in a team environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in the state of Oregon.
