Litigation Support Coordinator or Manager
The candidate will manage full life cycle of electronic discovery and litigation support projects, including data collection, data processing, document review, and production. Work with case teams to plan discovery projects for both ESI and paper, including identification, preservation, collection, processing, analysis, review, and production of electronic data. Consult with case teams regarding best practices for document management, electronic discovery, and matter workflow. Perform tasks associated with creating and modifying Relativity, IPRO/Eclipse, Summation, Clearwell and CaseMap databases encompassing database administration and data manipulation; performing quality checks to ensure quality and accuracy. Quality checks data received for loading and reports statistics on quality of data and images. Load data and images from external media sources to the Firm's systems. Convert and manipulate data for loading into the Firm's database systems. Perform complex tasks associated with OCR conversion, PDF conversion, website captures, social media captures, external media creation and image printing that do not lend themselves to standardized procedure. Work with attorneys and IT personnel to ensure quality of loaded data and images. Assist with software testing and trouble-shooting. Create databases and sets up user accounts. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktop applications and equipment. Maintain physical order of source media and other related materials. Assist with complex database searches and generation of reports. Communicate project status to relevant parties, monitor deadlines, assist in the allocation of resources, and preemptively identify potential issues. Manage and maintain relationships with vendors providing litigation support services such as document scanning, coding, electronic data conversion, hosting, etc.. Assist Information Technology department in developing case guidelines and procedures to ensure efficient work production while maintaining high quality control standards. Work with the Information Technology department to develop project plans and establish cost estimates to present to the case teams and clients. Create databases in Relativity, IPRO/Eclipse, Summation, CaseMap, TimeMap and other litigation support products. Load images, metadata, transcripts and native files into Relativity, IPRO/Eclipse, Summation, and other litigation support products. Assist in the setup of laptops when litigation support software and databases are needed for a case. Provide user support and troubleshoot Litigation technologies and databases. Provide general trial support. Set-up court room with equipment. Operate trial presentation system. Provide technology support at depositions (setup Real-Time Connections). Bachelor’s degree is required. Previous full-time work experience in a law firm or for a vendor as a Litigation Support Analyst/Specialist required. Should have 3+ years of related or law firm or related experience. Should have 3+ years experience must be in the Litigation Support field and, of that, 1+ years of working within a law firm. Detailed knowledge of Relativity, Summation, CaseMap and TimeMap required. Knowledge of Clearwell, LiveNote, IPRO/Eclipse and Concordance is a plus. Solid understanding of the electronic discovery harvesting, conversion, review and production process is required.
