A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Senior Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney to join its litigation and insurance practice in Philadelphia. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid- to senior-level attorney with deep experience in insurance law to engage in high-level coverage litigation, opinion drafting, and client advocacy across a wide spectrum of third-party and first-party claims. The position offers a mix of litigation and advisory responsibilities in a collaborative legal environment with complex, high-stakes matters.

Duties
Analyze complex insurance policies and claims related to third-party liability, including general liability and professional liability
Draft comprehensive coverage opinions and position letters
Litigate insurance coverage disputes, including handling discovery, motion practice, and court appearances
Conduct and defend depositions, prepare for hearings, and argue substantive motions
Advise insurance industry clients on coverage positions, regulatory risk, and claims management strategy
Handle matters involving bad faith, fraud investigations, and first-party coverage disputes
Collaborate with colleagues and clients on case development and resolution strategies
Stay current with evolving state and federal insurance laws and precedents
Requirements
5 to 8 years of experience in insurance coverage law and litigation
Strong background in coverage analysis and opinion writing
Experience with both first-party and third-party liability claims
Proficiency in handling bad faith and fraud-related insurance disputes
Litigation experience including depositions, motion practice, and court hearings
Demonstrated ability to manage complex caseloads independently
Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (required)
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications
Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania
