A reputable law firm based in Fargo, ND, is seeking an experienced attorney to join its dynamic oil and gas practice. This role involves preparing comprehensive title opinions for oil and gas development in North Dakota. Duties:

• Conduct detailed oil and gas title examinations in compliance with North Dakota regulations.
• Draft and review title opinions for development projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to ensure thorough and accurate legal assessments.
• Research and interpret applicable state and federal laws related to oil and gas operations.
• Provide expert legal advice to clients regarding oil and gas title matters.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in North Dakota oil and gas title examination.
• Proven expertise in drafting legal opinions and conducting legal research.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Eligibility for prompt admission to the North Dakota Bar and the Bar of the state of residence (if applicable).
