The successful candidate will handle employment diligence for corporate transactions, draft employment and retention agreements, and advise on employee terminations and reductions in force. International counseling experience is preferred, and the role will involve significant interaction with other offices within the firm’s global employment practice. Duties

• Conduct employment diligence and advise on employment matters related to corporate transactions.
• Draft and negotiate employment, retention, and related agreements.
• Advise clients on reductions in force, employee terminations, and workforce restructuring.
• Counsel clients on restrictive covenants and employee mobility issues.
• Provide legal advice to emerging companies on all aspects of employment law.
• Collaborate with other offices within the firm’s global employment practice.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in employment counseling (domestic and/or international).
• Experience at an AmLaw 100 law firm is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research abilities.
• Ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a nationally recognized law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction of application.
