Duties

• Review compliance with privacy and cybersecurity requirements.
• Design and implement privacy policies and procedures.
• Evaluate marketing programs for privacy compliance.
• Negotiate privacy agreements and clauses.
• Audit privacy and cybersecurity programs.
• Assist in building HIPAA compliance programs.
• Provide privacy training for organizations.
• Review products and websites for privacy compliance.
• Draft patient authorizations and consents.
• Support privacy and security incident matters.
• Assist with clinical trials and data transfer agreements.
• Assess privacy requirements with FDA reporting.
• Review commercial activities for privacy compliance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a related industry role.
• Knowledge of privacy laws and regulations.
• Understanding of healthcare laws and regulations.
• Ability to lead projects and manage multiple assignments.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals.

Education

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science.
• Juris Doctor from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in a U.S. state.
