A well-established and growing law firm in Springfield, MO, is seeking a full-time Estate Planning Attorney. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in various areas, including Elder Law, Estate Planning, Probate, Elder Law Litigation, and Business Law. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients with their estate planning needs and possess strong experience in the relevant areas of law. Applicants must be licensed in Missouri or eligible for reciprocity.

Location:

• Springfield, MO

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and services in Elder Law, Estate Planning, Probate, and Business Law
• Assist clients with drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other related legal documents
• Represent clients in probate and estate administration matters
• Advise clients on legal matters relating to asset protection and business succession planning
• Handle Elder Law litigation cases as needed
• Maintain accurate records and client files
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive and effective legal representation for clients

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Missouri or eligible for reciprocity
• Experience in Estate Planning and/or Probate is preferred
• Strong ability to manage multiple cases and client interactions
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective strategies

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Missouri (or eligible for reciprocity)

Skills:

• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Strong drafting and legal writing abilities
• Knowledge of Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Probate law
• Ability to handle estate administration and probate matters
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
