Duties:

• Handle matters related to federal and state environmental regulations, including permitting, enforcement, and compliance counseling

• Represent clients in environmental litigation before administrative agencies and courts

• Assist with due diligence, risk assessments, and environmental disclosures in corporate and real estate transactions

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and briefs in support of client matters

• Advise clients across a range of industries on evolving environmental laws and policies

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to client strategy discussions and case development

Requirements:

• 2-6 years of experience in environmental law (regulatory, transactional, and/or litigation)

• Proven ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines

• Demonstrated interest and knowledge in environmental and energy-related legal issues

• Must be licensed to practice law or eligible for admission in the state of Tennessee

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

• Academic performance in the top 25% of the graduating class is preferred

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in good standing
