A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Creditors' Rights practice in Norfolk, Virginia. The role requires frequent travel for court appearances in Maryland. Duties

• Represent clients in state or district court, handling both motion practice and trials.
• Travel to Maryland for court appearances as required.
• Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel.

Requirements

• Admitted and in good standing to practice law in Maryland.
• State or district courtroom experience, including motion practice and trials.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with technology and legal research tools.
• Knowledge of real estate, title, bankruptcy, and/or debt collection is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Maryland.
