Duties

• Lead all phases of personal injury litigation from case inception through trial, including discovery, depositions, motions, and settlement negotiations.
• Develop comprehensive case strategies to maximize client outcomes and ensure thorough trial preparation.
• Conduct detailed legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Draft persuasive legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel to achieve favorable settlements.
• Present compelling oral arguments and testify effectively during trial proceedings.
• Collaborate with experts across various fields to strengthen cases.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a plaintiff personal injury trial lawyer with successful courtroom advocacy.
• Strong knowledge of personal injury law, including negligence and wrongful death statutes.
• Excellent legal research skills and outstanding writing and legal drafting abilities.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills to resolve disputes outside the courtroom.
• Legal administrative experience managing case files, court filings, and client communications.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the state bar.
