Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing platforms such as Lexis and Westlaw

• Draft litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence

• Manage client representation in court and during settlement negotiations

• Advise clients on legal rights, procedures, and case developments

• Collaborate with senior litigators on complex litigation strategy and execution

• Prepare cases for trial, including discovery, evidence review, and witness preparation

• Monitor and interpret relevant legislative and case law developments

Requirements:

• Active membership in the Maryland Bar

• 3 to 5 years of litigation experience

• Demonstrated interest or experience in medical malpractice litigation preferred

• Proficient in legal research tools and document drafting

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Capable of working independently and in team settings

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in the State of Maryland

Skills:
