Job Overview: A well-established law firm in Syracuse, New York, is seeking a Trusts & Estates Associate Attorney to join their Trusts and Estates Practice Group. The firm is looking for a candidate with at least 1 year of experience in estate and trust planning and administration. Location:

• Syracuse, New York

Duties:

• Assist in estate and trust planning, including drafting wills, trusts, and other related documents.
• Handle the administration of estates and trusts, including preparing tax returns and court filings.
• Provide legal advice to clients regarding estate and trust matters, including asset protection and planning strategies.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and implement estate planning strategies for clients.
• Manage multiple files and deadlines while ensuring high-quality work and client satisfaction.
• Support client communications and maintain positive client relationships.
• Contribute to firm growth through teamwork and participation in internal and external business development efforts.

Requirements:

• Admitted to practice law in New York (Required).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in estate and trust planning and administration.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage competing priorities.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in trust and estate planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the New York State Bar (Required).

Skills:
