A law firm seeks a California-licensed attorney with 6 years of experience in business immigration matters to join their team in Boston, MA. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of corporate and individual immigration cases, advise domestic and multinational clients on compliance and strategy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, timely solutions.

Duties

• Guide corporations and high-net-worth individuals through employment-based visa processes (H-1B, L-1, E-2, O-1, TN, etc.).
• Prepare and file petitions, waiver applications, and adjustment of status packages.
• Conduct analyses of immigration regulations, compliance risks, and policy developments.
• Advise HR teams on I-9 compliance, global mobility programs, and internal policies.
• Liaise with government agencies (USCIS, DOL, DOS) and respond to Requests for Evidence (RFEs).
• Develop and deliver client trainings and internal CLE presentations on immigration law updates.
• Mentor junior attorneys and paralegals on case strategy, drafting, and client communications.

Requirements

• Active admission to the Massachusetts Bar (or eligibility for reciprocal admission).
• 6 years' experience handling corporate immigration matters.
• Demonstrated success securing complex visa approvals and managing audits.
• Strong legal research, drafting, and project-management skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple client engagements.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Massachusetts Bar admission.
• Membership in AILA or similar professional organizations preferred.

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of U.S. business immigration statutes and regulations.
• Proficiency with immigration case-management systems (e.g., INSZoom, LawLogix).
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and client-service abilities.
• Solid analytical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Strong presentation and training-development skills.
