Duties

• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and insurance companies.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their rights and obligations.
• Maintain detailed case files and documentation.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to gather and present evidence.
• Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations.
• Attend networking events and build professional relationships to attract new clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in workers' compensation law preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Bilingual English and Spanish, a plus.
• Must be a member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Florida Bar membership is required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a fully accredited law school.
