Job Overview:

A growing law firm specializing in Civil Litigation, Probate Litigation, and Family Law is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join the team remotely. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in business and civil litigation, including breach of contract claims, real estate disputes, and employment law issues. This role involves managing a wide range of litigation matters, from drafting legal documents to handling depositions, court appearances, and trial participation.

Location:

• San Francisco, CA

Duties:

• Handle business and civil litigation cases, including breach of contract, real estate disputes, construction defects, and employment law issues.
• Meet with clients to understand their legal needs and provide expert advice.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Administer depositions, respond to discovery, and conduct legal research.
• Represent clients in court, argue motions, and participate in hearings and trials.
• Interview witnesses and draft settlement agreements.
• Negotiate settlements, attend mediations, and participate in arbitrations.
• Handle a variety of civil litigation cases as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be a licensed attorney in California.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability.
• Exemplary client service skills with prompt and effective communication.
• Desire to make court appearances, argue motions, and participate in hearings.
• Strong drafting, negotiating, and legal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to independently manage caseloads and meet deadlines.
• Courtroom experience is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with the California Code of Civil Procedure.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active California State Bar membership.
