Duties:

• Actively participate in all stages of litigation, including client meetings and case strategy development.

• Draft and respond to discovery requests.

• Interview and prepare expert witnesses.

• Take depositions and manage witness testimony.

• Attend mediations and assist in trial preparation.

• Contribute to case management and provide legal counsel in insurance defense matters.

Requirements:

• Active Texas Bar license.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on insurance defense preferred.

• Strong ability to handle litigation tasks from start to finish.

• Proven experience in taking depositions and managing discovery processes.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with team members.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Texas Bar.

Skills:

• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in managing litigation tasks and client relations.

• Ability to take and defend depositions and participate in mediations.
