Key Responsibilities

• Franchise and Distribution Program Development:
  • Develop and structure franchise and distributor programs for various clients.
  • Advise clients on compliance with franchise and distribution regulations.
• Contract Assessment and Counseling:
  • Assess and provide counsel on franchise and distributor agreements and relationships.
  • Evaluate and negotiate supply contracts, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
• Drafting Legal Documents:
  • Draft franchise disclosure documents, agreements, and other necessary legal instruments.
  • Prepare and review contracts related to supply networks and franchise operations.
• State Registrations and Compliance:
  • Perform state registrations for franchises, ensuring local and federal laws compliance.
  • Manage the renewal and updating of franchise registrations as required.
• Dispute Resolution:
  • Assist in the resolution of franchise disputes, including mediation and arbitration.
  • Provide legal support in litigation or other dispute resolution processes.

Requirements

• Experience:

  • Proven track record of handling franchise law issues, including drafting, negotiating, and advising on franchise agreements.
• Academic Credentials:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic performance focusing on commercial, corporate, or franchise law.
