Location:

• Las Vegas, NV

Duties:

• Manage a substantial caseload involving civil litigation and insurance defense

• Handle general liability, products liability, premises liability, construction defect, professional liability, and insurance coverage matters

• Draft, prepare, and manage pleadings, motions, orders, and legal memoranda

• Respond to and draft discovery and dispositive motions

• Conduct legal research and apply it effectively

• Prepare for and conduct depositions of parties, experts, and other witnesses

• Review client documents and prepare case evaluations and status reports

• Participate in trial preparation, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances

• Communicate directly with clients, claim professionals, opposing counsel, colleagues, and staff

Requirements:

• 3 to 8 years of general insurance defense experience

• Trial experience preferred

• Licensed to practice in Nevada State and Federal District Courts

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Strong legal research and analytical skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities

• Knowledge of state and federal court procedures

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Nevada State Bar license

Skills:
