Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm in Philadelphia is seeking a mid-level associate with 3 to 5 years of experience to join its Insurance Recovery Group. This role involves advocating for policyholders in various aspects of insurance recovery, including claim analysis, client advisement, negotiations, mediation, and litigation in both domestic and international settings.

Duties:

• Assess insurance policies and claim-related facts to determine coverage eligibility.

• Provide strategic guidance to clients on claim presentation and resolution.

• Represent policyholders in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and litigations.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal teams to develop case strategies.

• Conduct legal research and draft briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents.

• Advocate for clients in court and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in insurance recovery or a related field.

• Strong litigation and negotiation skills.

• Experience in handling complex legal matters in both domestic and international disputes.

• Excellent legal research and analytical abilities.

• Strong communication and client management skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

• Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar or eligibility for admission.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the Pennsylvania State Bar.

Skills:

• Proficiency in insurance law and policyholder representation.

• Ability to handle high-stakes negotiations and litigation.

• Strong legal writing and research skills.
