Duties

• Represent clients in labor and employment law cases, including litigation in both state and federal courts.
• Participate in arbitration and administrative proceedings on behalf of employers.
• Guide clients through drafting and reviewing key employment documents such as handbooks, employment agreements, non-compete clauses, severance agreements, and independent contractor contracts.
• Provide legal advice on various employment law matters including compliance with workplace regulations and dispute resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal research and perform due diligence to ensure informed case strategies.
• Draft dispositive motions, handle discovery processes, and prepare for trial or settlement negotiations.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Oklahoma or eligible for licensure.
• 2-3 years of experience in labor and employment law, with litigation experience preferred.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local labor regulations and employment laws.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in the state of Oklahoma (or ability to obtain).
