The successful candidate will represent clients across the state, requiring an active Alabama Bar license in good standing. The role involves managing cases from filing through trial, with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients.

Duties

• Represent clients in personal injury cases from initial litigation through settlement or verdict.
• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Handle mediations, hearings, and trial proceedings, including jury selection and examinations.
• Collaborate with paralegals and litigation support staff for comprehensive case preparation.

Requirements

• Active membership in the Alabama Bar, in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years of litigation/trial experience in personal injury or related areas.
• Strong negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Alabama Bar license.

Skills

• Proven litigation and trial experience.

• Ability to manage a caseload independently.
