Location:

• Hartford, CT

Duties:

• Conduct and argue appellate oral arguments

• Draft appellate briefs, legal memoranda, and motions

• Assist trial teams by participating in charge conferences and ensuring the record is preserved for appeal

• Argue complex legal motions in trial courts

• Provide legal strategy and research in support of litigation and appellate cases

• Collaborate with colleagues on high-level case preparation and presentation

Requirements:

• 4 to 6 years of appellate and trial support experience

• Proven courtroom experience, including handling oral arguments and litigation motion practice

• Familiarity with trial processes and procedural rules

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Effective collaboration in team-based legal environments

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Academic excellence strongly preferred

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Skills:

• Exceptional legal writing and research skills

• Strong oral advocacy, especially in appellate and motion practice settings
