A law firm seeks an experienced Estate Planning and Elder Law Attorney in Norwood, MA. This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to engage in sophisticated legal work within a supportive environment.

Duties

• Conduct client meetings from initial consultations to signings and funding.
• Draft estate planning documents, including trusts for tax minimization and asset protection.
• Prepare MassHealth and VA eligibility opinion letters.
• Manage MassHealth applications, renewals, and appeals.
• File probates, guardianships, and conservatorships, including attending court hearings.
• Complete estate tax returns, trust accountings, and estate accountings.
• Advise clients on advanced tax planning issues.
• Prepare trust funding recommendations and collaborate with financial advisors.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Experience in estate planning, estate and trust administration, and/or elder law.
• Ability to commute to the job's location.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Massachusetts.
