Duties

• Conduct client intake and evaluate options.
• Review tax returns, bank statements, and other financial documents.
• Collaborate closely with experienced paralegals.
• Draft and file bankruptcy petitions.
• Lead petition review and signing appointments.
• Represent clients in telephonic/Zoom 341 meetings.
• Handle occasional in-person adversary proceedings.
• Maintain accurate digital case files and deadlines.
• Provide clear, compassionate client communication.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree.
• Licensed to practice in Nebraska or Iowa, or ability to obtain admission to Nebraska Federal District Court.
• 0-3 years out of law school.
• Organized, empathetic, analytical, and coachable.
• Motivated to develop a respected specialty in a modern, efficient firm.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Nebraska or Iowa.

Skills

• Strong client communication and financial review skills.
